I attempted to put the story of Moses and God's essence in modern, quasi-scientific terms.

In my free ebook on comparative mysticism, "the greatest achievement in life," is a quote by Albert Einstein: “…most beautiful and profound emotion we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true science. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and most radiant beauty – which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive form – this knowledge, this feeling, is at the center of all religion.”

E=mc², Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity, is probably the best known scientific equation. I revised it to help better understand the relationship between divine Essence (Love, Grace, Spirit), matter (mass/energy: visible/dark) and consciousness (f(x) raised to its greatest power). Unlike the speed of light, which is a constant, there are no exact measurements for consciousness. In this hypothetical formula, basic consciousness may be of insects, to the second power of animals and to the third power the rational mind of humans. The fourth power is suprarational consciousness of mystics, when they intuit the divine essence in perceived matter. This was a convenient analogy, but there cannot be a divine formula.

Well said! My only difference with your summary is that Independent Living should be a goal for most humans, at least, to be as independent as possible, if only for the fact that parents do not live forever. If our children are raised and educated to be as self-sufficient as possible, then they may be less dependent on others to survive. In some cases, many will still be dependent, and that is fine, but I believe that as much independence as possible should be a goal.

We need to keep tight control over all of these malignant religions. They represent memeplexes that are spread like viruses, using the human host like a parasite would. Hi Anonymous. I do intend to have a number of rambling thoughts and observations pieced together at some point over the next two weeks, but with the rapid changes and developments and constant breaking news, it is not only nearly impossible to keep up with developments but also impossible to offer any kind of truly thoughtful analysis. That'll be reserved for historians down the road at least a hundred years.

Your argument presumes that 1) Existing 'christian' tradition is a true reflection of God's word and 2) that such a reality as God is active in the world of human affairs.

Yet with the promise of the Incarnation remaining unfulfilled. and as humanity is not moving to such a realization by any religious teaching, I conclude that both assumptions are false. And that suggests that a greater freedom and power of will and moral integrity is necessary to achieve those goals. A freedom and integrity not yet offered or granted to humanity.

Humanity remains a species rooted in an evolutionary past. With a limited moral potential and predominant materialism to define its values.

If the highest of human aspirations is to know the mind of God, to know the greatest good, without having that mind revealed by God, their remains a glass ceiling reason, ie theology, cannot breach.

That is to say religious has yet to begin.
